Located in Edmonton, this position reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The Vice President, Marketing and Customer Experience is accountable for guiding our market-leading product and passionate customer experience, in a market that is striving for ways to engage their employees in health and wellness. As a charismatic and astute leader, you will help define and execute our integrated marketing strategy across traditional, digital and human channels while helping our team members reach their highest potential and impact.

As a member of the Executive team, you will be responsible for strategy and planning, messaging and competitive positioning, team leadership and development, and reporting and insights. As the representative for the analytics team, you will engage in strategy discussions including interacting with other leaders on complex issues and applying strong judgment and analysis toward important business decisions. You will work with the Executive team, vice-presidents, and directors to shape and influence future products, business decisions and team development at the highest levels of the company.

The VP is accountable for leading and providing overall strategic direction of the marketing, product development, digital and customer experiences, and analytics departments of Alberta Blue Cross in a manner consistent with its mission and vision.

The ideal candidate is a persuasive presenter with impeccable communication skills, and is able to naturally establish trusted and productive relationships with other senior executives, customers, and stakeholders. They will come from a background in leading digital solutions and are passionate about health and wellness. The successful candidate will have an undergraduate or master’s degree in a related field and at least 15 years of relevant marketing, customer experience, or product management leadership experience at an executive level. This individual will champion sustained high-performance teamwork and organization-wide collaboration in a manner consistent with Alberta Blue Cross’s team-oriented culture.
