Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice-President, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Specialist develops, executes and monitors the Caisse's marketing strategy, including branding, promotional campaigns, all marketing material, product/market development, development of marketing tools and media dissemination means (in branch, print publication, online, radio, television, web, social media), as well as analysis and related research. He or she plays an integral role in the overall marketing strategy, from the creation of the initial concepts, to the planning and successful implementation of the marketing and branding programs. Key responsibilities consist of:
- Developing, implementing and tracking marketing campaigns such as email, social media or digital campaigns and events
- Collaborating with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
- Analyzing and reporting on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
- Conducting market research and analyzing trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Developing and creating marketing materials such as sales and product collateral and ensure brand guidelines are met
- Writing, proofreading and editing creative and technical content across different mediums
- Working with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs
Skills & Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing or communications or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
- Strong prioritization, organization and project management skills
- Adaptable with a willingness to learn new concepts and software
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), Adobe products (Reader, Acrobat Pro DC) and WordPress
- Strong communication skills and high proficiency in both French and English, written and verbal, are required
Work Conditions
- May require light physical work, such as assembling equipment and lifting marketing materials
- Will require overtime in the evening and/or on weekends
