PROFILE

Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to members of the digital marketing team.

Work to ensure strategic alignment between the firm's business goals and the development / implementation of digital marketing initiatives to meet those objectives.

Focus on content marketing strategy as it pertains to educating and informing on best practices, optimization of existing content, implementation of new processes in content development.

Manage training and consultancy to internal stakeholders, driving additional content creation across the wider BD team and legal support teams across the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and provides coaching and guidance to a team of digital marketing professionals.

Works closely with the communications team to collaborate on portions of the firm's digital content strategies.

Develops strategic digital marketing plans and associated operational procedures that identify and lead to enhancement and improvement activities for the firm’s digital marketing assets.

Analyzes the performance of content via organic search, report on findings, and make strategic recommendations for improvement.

Manages and delivers training in relation to, and ensure adherence to search engine optimization (SEO).

Plans, manages and optimizes paid and organic digital campaigns using data, analytics and optimization tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMrush) to assess and adjust where necessary.

Advises senior leaders and other internal clients on effective digital and content marketing strategies and tactics.

Maintains best practices with day-to-day web content management using Kentico, the firm’s content management system

Where necessary, provides reciprocal coverage for intake requests to the digital marketing central inbox.

Responsible for oversight of content marketing strategies delivered through the firm’s digital marketing channels.

Leads internal consultations related to digital strategy and digital engagement initiatives.

Works closely with international digital marketing and communications teams to scope and document process for website content optimization and drafting (sectors and services).

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education with a focus on digital marketing-related program/certificate course.

A minimum of five (5) years experience in digital marketing, and/or content marketing.

Supervisory experience would be an asset.

Superior grasp of digital marketing concepts, SEO best practices and measurement.

Strong understanding of web usability and accessibility standards.

Experience with content management systems, analytics tools (Google Analytics), SEO platforms (SEMrush) social media channels, CRM, email marketing, and other digital media platforms.

Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite and Dreamweaver.

Advanced software skills in a PC environment, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strategic and solutions-oriented approach to challenges, with excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; must have a keen eye for detail.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver exceptional work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to produce a high quality and quantity of work product, under tight timelines, with the flexibility to work irregular or extended hours, sometimes at short notice

Bilingualism (French/English) may be required in some offices.
