Job Description: We're seeking a seasoned Regional Marketing Specialist with a sense of humor and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach. If you're ready to dive in, get your hands dirty, and make a tangible impact, this role is for you. You'll support our KCL marketing team and help our dealers succeed with effective, locally-focused marketing materials that resonate.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Retail Marketing Manager to tailor national marketing activities to local markets.

  • Partner with agency teams, regional sales managers, and dealers across Canada to develop and execute localized marketing plans and advertising campaigns.

  • Provide and facilitate hands-on training and support to dealership staff on marketing initiatives and campaigns.

  • Maintain regular and effective communication with dealers about updated marketing materials.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with dealer partners to provide timely and relevant marketing advice and materials.

  • Ensure advertisements align with current programs and seasonal trends – because timing is crucial.

  • Update campaign materials to reflect new monthly offers – keeping everything fresh and relevant.

  • Ensure legal and compliance information in offers is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Maintain the editorial relevance and seasonal appropriateness of printed communications.

  • Liaise with the product team to ensure all information is accurate and reliable.

  • Introduce new KCL dealers to the marketing assets available and guide them through the process.

  • Analyze marketing campaign results across various markets and identify areas for improvement.

  • Utilize monitoring tools to gain insights and spot opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • 4-5 years of proven marketing experience, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, automotive, or related industries.

  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Bilingualism (fluent written and spoken French and English) is required

  • Exceptional public presentation skills – you're comfortable speaking to groups of any size.

  • Flexibility in managing varying priorities and workloads – you handle change with grace.

  • Ability to travel (up to 10%) to engage with dealers, customers, and attend events.

  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics for performance tracking – you're data-savvy.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently – you're a team player who can also take initiative.

  • Confident, organized, and self-motivated – you know how to get things done without constant supervision.

  • Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools – you're comfortable with spreadsheets and data analysis.
