Wind Sun Sky Entertainment is looking for a senior strategic business development executive to join our team. Through the development of commercial and philanthropic partnerships, this leader will drive brand growth for our flagship mission-driven universe Future Chicken. An innovator with an entrepreneurial spirit, this new position will work with key stakeholders to develop a long-term, sustainable business model positioned to build a global brand with a focus on discoverability.

The Opportunity:

  • Develop and execute on a corporate and philanthropic partnership strategy for Future Chicken.
  • Leverage your extensive network and expertise to secure large-scale corporate sponsorships, grants, and commercial partnerships from around the globe.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: To build brand’s impact and reach, cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with leading environmental organizations, educational institutions, media companies, and other key stakeholders and NGOs.
  • Attend conferences and events with the goal to build relationships with prospective partners, brand and content licensors and funders.
  • Foster a Mission-Driven Culture: Be part of a passionate, collaborative, and innovative team dedicated to the brand's environmental mission.
  • Lead contractual negotiations with partners/donors through to signature.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to inspire, ideate, create, and implement partnership collaborations and activations including virtual and live events.
  • Liaise with external public relations as required for partnerships.

What You Will Bring:

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams towards a common goal.
  • A stellar track record of leveraging referrals, developing leads, and securing meetings with prospective partners.
  • Proven history of securing large-scale corporate sponsorships, grants, and commercial partnerships from a diverse range of domestic and international sources. 
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in building mission driven initiatives, preferably in the entertainment, environmental or educational sectors.
  • Serve as one of the key public faces of the brand, representing it at high-profile events, conferences, and media engagements.
  • You have experience negotiating complex, commercial contracts, and global sponsorship/partnership deals across multiple platforms.
  • Possess a deep understanding of different cultural contexts, enabling effective global expansion.
  • Strong understanding of environmental issues, sustainability, and the importance of addressing eco-anxiety in young audiences.

Salary is $150,000 Canadian annually but may be adjusted to commensurate with experience. The studio is located in Vancouver, BC but we are open to remote candidates.
