About the role

As the Digital Marketing Director, you will be the driving force behind our online advertising strategy. Leading the digital marketing team, you will be responsible for guiding and overseeing digital marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives to amplify our presence in the digital asset ecosystem and engage with our global audience in the digital sphere. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our brand narrative, leverage cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to our mission of advancing finance through blockchain innovation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, economics, or statistics with strong academic credentials

 

Salary: $114,400/year 

 

Work Hours: 40 hours/week 

 

Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (in-person)

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, strategies, projects, and communications across various platforms, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and content marketing
  • Oversee the implementation of digital marketing campaigns by monitoring campaign performance metrics and KPIs, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and engagement metrics, and by utilizing data-driven insights and data analytics tools to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness and ROI 
  • Compile regular and ad-hoc reports to assess and communicate key findings and performances of digital marketing campaigns, and provide recommendations to senior management 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives and brand messaging
  • Build trusted relationships with clients
  • Develop and maintain relationship with external partners, including overseeing their selection and monitoring their performance to ensure a timely and cost-effective delivery of services
  • Help develop and mentor junior team members through meeting contributions and one-on-one interactions

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, economics, statistics, or a related field with strong academic credentials
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies, preferably within the proprietary trading, ETF, cryptos, digital currency, or blockchain industry.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a management position, preferably in a marketing-, digital-currency-, or investment-related environment
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision-making
  • Profound knowledge of investors behavior and current digital currency market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure, and ability to prioritize and multi-task responsibilities
  • Thorough and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated passion for investing
  • Multi-lingual is an asset (French, Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin)
