We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Digital and Alternate Channels to deepen relationships and grow new clients by developing a digital offering that will enable our sales force to win business and generate additional growth through self-serve offerings.

Who you are:

  • A degree or post-graduate degree holder in a related field.
  • A seasoned leader with at least ten years under your belt with significant digital experience including both strategic and execution experience. Financial Institution experience would be a strong asset.
  • An experienced collaborator with a history of building inclusive, high-performing and customer-facing teams.
  • A practiced strategist who is able to recognize market or competitive trends and translate them into implications (both short and long term).
  • A decisive and focused individual who has proven execution capabilities.  You can lead complex initiatives and provide high quality deliverables on time and on budget. Fluid and adaptable, taking the team along for the ride.
  • A relationship builder who can develop key partnerships internally and externally by demonstrating expert interpersonal skills and strong business knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Develop and manage CWB’s digital offerings for both commercial and personal clients, ensuring they meet client and bank needs. 
  • Oversee and direct the digital team to develop new, and support existing, products and services.   Develop a UX approach that will tie together our digital partners into a cohesive platform for our clients.
  • Manage Motive Financial (our digital bank) and Virtual Branch customer facing teams to deliver exceptional customer experience and create another growth channel for CWB.
  • Manage relationships with key technology partners to ensure strategic alignment of our roadmaps and partner with IT to hold them accountable to deliverables
  • Solicit and research questions and comments regarding CWB’s digital offerings from branches and customers. Work with HR, Learning & Development and VP, Sales Strategy and Effectiveness to ensure branch staff receive the product knowledge, coaching and training to properly utilize and explain to our digital offering to our clients.
  • Lead, direct and collaborate with Marketing, Sales Effectiveness, Product and other key stakeholders in all digital initiatives, such as launch activities and campaigns.
  • Identify leading digital financial institutions and direct banking institutions worldwide and develop a competitive intelligence program which enables CWB to stay on top of trends and innovations and evaluate their impact on our organization.
  • Develop, implement and manage all digital-specific policies and supporting documentation and processes, including all internal/external documentation, templates, agreements, legal forms, involving key stakeholders.
  • Support the Bank’s ongoing compliance with Privacy, AML, and other regulatory requirements as it relates to CWB business and our digital and alternative channel offerings.
  • Promote cooperation and commitment within the CWB Group towards the attainment of common goals enabling productive group interactions.  Ensure direct reports understand CWB’s strategy/vision and how they contribute to it.
