Based in Vancouver, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Marketing & Communications mandate is to spearhead the continued development of Taymor’s brand by ensuing the development of impactful marketing and communications programs that are aligned with the company’s vision.
In delivering on this mandate, the Vice President, Marketing & Communications will lead a small team in the creation of value propositions, communications, key messages and messages that resonate with targeted customers in Taymor’s builder/design channel and homeowners through the retail channel.
As the ideal candidate you are a resourceful, talented, classically trained marketer who understands the retail, direct to consumer or B2B channels, is social media savvy and understands what it takes to work with a product that evolves with trends in interior design. He/she is able to provide leadership and support to a team that includes an outsourced design agency and has proven their ability to develop content and manage the deadlines and demands of the sales team and retail customers.
