In this newly created role, you will wear multiple hats as the Marketing Lead by balancing marketing strategy with execution while at the same time, rolling up your sleeves.  Your mindset will be opportunity and growth both organizationally and professionally.  There is no limit to your potential and we at the Geneva Centre for Autism will give you the opportunity demonstrate just that.

The Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Lead will work closely and in tandem with the Head of Communications.  In addition, they will collaborate with all stakeholders across the GCA to build and deliver a marketing plan. The Marketing Lead will play a significant role in expanding the GCA’s reach from the development of marketing campaigns to establishing marketing and digital marketing strategies and tactics.  They will also be responsible for implementing growth strategies and demand generation through all marketing techniques including SEO, content marketing, as well as paid digital channels (paid search, email, affiliates, display and paid social).

The main accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
•Set the strategic direction for marketing for the GCA in partnership with the CEO and Head of Communications.
•Develop and execute the annual/quarterly marketing plan to achieve targets for lead generation.
•Analyze every stage of our marketing activities for improvement – then build and execute strategies to drive meaningful results.
•Establish growth strategies to support GCA’s Strategic Plan, mission, vision and values.
•Plan and execute new product marketing campaigns including advertising, email, direct mail, press releases and events.
•Conduct market research and competitive analysis that will be utilized in future marketing plans, strategies and campaigns.
•Create product collateral materials including brochures, testimonials, advertising and direct mail pieces that execute the marketing strategy.
•Ensure consistency of GCA’s brand and identify opportunities to raise brand awareness
•Work with executive team to explore strategic objectives.
•Utilize SEO techniques and tools.
•Champion the use of innovative, leading edge digital marketing practices.
•Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals using systems like Google Analytics and compare them to marketing goals.
•Recommend the suite of tools, technologies, automation and processes necessary for scaling marketing efforts.
•Lead the go-to-market planning and execution of new offerings. Responsible for staying up to date on emerging trends and technologies in the digital space.
•Execute digital marketing strategies to support lead generation, marketing and branding initiatives.
•Discover, research and analyze the effectiveness of past, present and potential marketing tactics. Use keen insights to stay on top of market changes and identify opportunities.
•Conceive and execute on a wide range of content campaigns to drive education and engagement (e.g. blog posts, infographics, images, etc.).
•Manage all social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and drive content creation.
•Lead print advertising, digital marketing development and analysis, and social media campaigns.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive and energetic with a proven track record in marketing.

Requirements to be considered for the role:
•Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing or related field
•4-6 years of marketing experience with strong focus on driving growth
•Proven ability to think big picture strategy and comfort with roll-up-your sleeves to deliver mindset
•Experience within a start-up environment or with lean resources
•Data driven with deep analytical skills – can analyze and source data
•Demonstrated experience working with mobile, digital and new technologies and platforms
•Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way across the organization but also comfort in working independently and without structure to achieve results
•Demonstrated experience in development of Marketing Strategies and Plans.
•Experience in Social and Digital Media
•Proven knowledge of Facebook ads, Google Adwords, and other forms of paid advertising with quantifiable impact.
•Strong growth track record, with samples and results of past campaigns
•Proven knowledge of key email metrics and strategies that can increase engagement, and systems for delivering on other digital channels (e.g. mobile notifications) including solid understanding of deliverability optimization
•Knowledge of, HTML, CSS, Google Analytics
•Bilingualism an asset.
