Director, Marketing & Communications (Bilingual)

Caisse Financial Group is a bilingual co-operative financial institution offering comprehensive financial products and services through a network of 19 branches in Manitoba.

Work Location in Manitoba: 400 – 205 Provencher Boulevard, Winnipeg

Responsibilities

The Director, Marketing & Communications, will lead the marketing team and is responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing plan for Caisse Financial Group. The Director, Marketing & Communications, leads and directs the design, development, delivery/implementation and evaluation of all marketing initiatives that support the short-term operational needs of the Caisse while maintaining a long-term focus on the Caisse’s vision of growth and brand promotion.

Key responsibilities include:

-  To develop the marketing plan, including all media and promotional activities, and community events;

-  To plan and optimize social media marketing initiatives;

-  To develop and manage Caisse’s corporate communication program;

-  To manage the community donations, sponsorship, and public relations program.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing with a minimum 10 years of experience in marketing financial services
  and data analysis, at a senior level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Experience required  in strategic planning, market development and preparation of creative promotional materials in print, Internet and all other media;
• Strong project management skills; highly organized; highly analytical;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently;
• Ability to establish priorities and organize resources quickly and efficiently with a keen attention to detail;
• Strong knowledge of web and social media platforms and related analytics and assessment tools;
• Good knowledge of Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Reader/Professional, various marketing software;
• Bilingual communication skills are required; highly proficient in both French and English, written and verbal.
