You can’t visit a website without dissecting it to figure out how it works and how it could be better for the end user. We could use a passionate techy like you!

We are looking for someone to deliver insights to help increase site visitors, create deeper engagement, and improve online conversions. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure KPIs and success metrics are tightly aligned with digital marketing objectives, and measure/analyze cross-platform digital engagement across websites, microsites, digital assets, social media, video, and beyond.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to the Director, Sales and Marketing.
  • Interpret data from a variety of sources including web trafficking tools such as Google Analytics and Web trends to produce meaningful insight and support business development

  • Design, develop and test internally built web applications and website functionality.
  • Identify business challenges, recommend and conduct analysis and provide insight with recommendations that address business needs.
  • Research and analyze business trend, member data and member behaviour to identify new opportunities.
  • Suggest, perform and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversions and overall site experience.
  • Make recommendations for optimization of internal staff and the online member experience including incorporation of new content and web applications.
  • Analyze key business metrics and generate scheduled and ad hoc reports that address specific questions regarding business unit performance.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Computer Science.
  • You have 5+ years’ experience with enterprise-class web analytics platforms (e.g., Web Analytics, Adobe Analytics/Omniture, WebTrends).
  • You have proficient understanding of developing custom reports, advanced segments, and complex goals, and the interpretation and presentation of findings.
  • You have experience with SEM/SEO measurement techniques across both owned and paid media; social media measurement tools (NetBase, Radian6, Origami Logic, etc.).
  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills and an ability to integrate disparate data sets into clear, concise reports.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing techniques and best practice.
  • You have experience working with standard web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst etc.).
  • With your strong Digital Marketing background, understanding of agile web development methodology comes natural to you.
