Brand Services Coordinator with A&W Food Services of Canada Inc.

Based at the corporate head office in North Vancouver, the Brand Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that A&W has high-value promotional giveaway items that support the brand. A member of the corporate Purchasing and Distribution team, the role provides proactive analytical and administrative support for branded packing products and operating supplies. The position is responsible for sourcing and maintaining adequate inventory levels of innovative, high-value promotional products. The Brand Services Coordinator provides positive customer service to franchisees. The role prepares and places purchase orders, creates and maintains Excel spreadsheets to support forecasting, tracking and financial evaluation of products and supplies. The Brand Services Coordinator has a mandate to build exceptional relationships and to display initiative in assessing procedures, products and processes and for recommending improvements. The role reports to the Manager, Distribution and Logistics and works closely with franchisees, external advertising agencies and suppliers, and with members of A&W’s corporate Purchasing and Distribution, Marketing and Finance teams.

The ideal candidate has superb interpersonal and analytical skills and a very strong ability to work accurately with detail without losing sight of the big picture. An energetic self-starter, the ideal candidate has a strong drive for results, a creative eye, an interest in business and graphic design and the ability to work well under pressure.   The candidate must be a strong relationship builder with sound business acumen and excellent Excel skills. It would be an asset to have experience with using programs in the Adobe Creative Suite. The candidate must have a degree in Commerce or Business Administration, a high level of personal awareness and accountability and a collaborative, positive manner. Ideally, the candidate has had at least one year of experience in a busy office environment. The candidate must be very organized, have exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, and have an aptitude for negotiation and conflict resolution. With the capacity to anticipate and to multi-task with ease and accuracy, the ideal candidate has sound judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
