Overview:

Our client is looking for a bilingual copy editor (English and French) on a freelance basis. The Bilingual Copy Editor will be responsible for creating copies for proofreading documents and marks for correction of any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors incorporating some copywriting and typesetting. In addition to the Bilingual Copy Editor will be accountable for comparing copy against copy, using standardized code to mark grammatical or typographical errors that appear in the proof. The incumbent will measure dimensions, spacing, and positioning of page elements (copy and illustrations) to verify conformance to order specifications. 

Please note that this role can be worked remotely and on-site.
 

About You:

The ideal Proofreader will come with 5+ years of experience.

Bonus for experience with –

- Jira or Confluence
- DIgital copy (such as using a CMS)
