For over 20 years, the Halifax Partnership has led the private, public and community sectors in driving a vision for economic growth and development in Halifax. More than 120 businesses and all three levels of government invest in the Partnership to support economic growth in Halifax.
Now, the Halifax Partnership is seeking a Vice President, Marketing, Public Relations & Communications to play a key role in taking the organization, and Halifax, to the next level. As the Vice President, Marketing, Public Relations and Communications, you will champion the development and delivery of an integrated marketing and communication plan to support organizational priorities. You will act as the executive lead on corporate reputation, government relations, public relations, media relations, internal communications, client experience and corporate digital strategy. You will lead the creation of clear, digestible, compelling, rich content to multiple audiences across all platforms, while maintaining a consistent brand and voice.
As the ideal candidate, you are a seasoned professional communicator and marketer with 10+ years of leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You are a natural collaborator, known for your ability to effectively bring diverse stakeholder groups together. You are a motivational leader and are energized by the opportunity to mentor, coach and shape a highly dedicated and talented team. A gifted communicator and storyteller, you have a true talent for crafting and conveying a compelling, consistent message that inspires a unified commitment to a vision.
