Your Mission:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, based in Montreal, the Marketing Projects Specialist is responsible for the coordination and implementation of our marketing strategies to meet our objectives. This person is efficient, has strong project management skills and is resourceful. The Marketing Projects Specialist oversees communication, marketing, event and philanthropic projects and initiatives. They provide direction to our internal clients and show creativity in looking for solutions. They manage various projects with enthusiasm and reliability, always keeping deadlines and priorities in mind. The Marketing Projects Specialist's detailed tasks are:

  • Contribute to develop marketing and web strategies.
  • Establish and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives for omni-channels and promotions by overseeing all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
  • Elaborate on the customer strategy based on an in-depth knowledge of our clients.
  • Prepare briefs and implement integrated marketing campaigns in close collaboration with the Marketing team in Quebec, internal teams, agencies and marketing suppliers.
  • Coordinate the production of all our marketing activities including websites, segmented emails, digital campaigns, advertising, events, television and radio.
  • Ensure compliance with our promotional brand image within all our channels.
  • Oversee and manage budgets, deadlines, invoices and quality assurance for all deliverables.
  • Track the performance of our different marketing initiatives aiming at reaching our business objectives and make recommendations.
  • Analyse media, event and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of the competition and best practices in marketing and the insurance industry.
  • Work closely with charitable organizations.
  • Establish efficient working relationships and provide strategic advice to our internal clients.
  • In conjunction with the Digital Marketing Specialist, promote the initiatives of our philanthropic program on our social networks, among others.
  • In collaboration with the in-house copywriter, write and publish press releases and any other pertinent news on all our platforms (memos, HR portal, websites, social networks, etc.).
  • Contribute to the development of our web pages relating to our philanthropic program.

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor’s in communications, marketing or the equivalent
  • Five (5) years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in event planning and communications, marketing and web project management
  • Strong expertise in advertising, mass and targeted media, event and digital marketing, social networks, web and emerging technologies
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing
  • Knowledge of the Ontario market
  • Training in philanthropic management, training in public relations and knowledge of the individual health and travel insurance industry are an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize efficiently
  • Autonomy and proven aptitudes in project management
  • Ability to manage projects showing creativity and versatility
  • Strong teamwork skills, communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Integrity, diplomacy and good judgment
  • Strong interest in philanthropy
