Role Overview

This VP Business Development and Marketing position provides a unique opening for a seasoned and accomplished executive, who is excited by the challenge to help build and distinguish the Canadian Hearing Society as an industry leader across Canada. Operating in a fast-paced challenging environment, this is a real opportunity to “make a difference.”

As the VP, Business Development and Marketing, you will be a trusted senior advisor to the CEO and member of the senior leadership team with a mandate to grow and lead the business, develop our retail product line, its distribution and drive the expansion of our Hearing Aid program, ASL Education and Interpreting/Translation Professional Services by advancing CHS’s brand and market share objectives.

Operating with a business-minded spirit and seasoned judgment, the successful incumbent will communicate and inspire confidence across a wide range of clients and internal stakeholders, sharing a credible vision with the CEO and promoting CHS’s brand and unique value proposition within Canada.

An outstanding relationship builder and leader of teams, the Vice President, Business Development and Marketing builds rapport across all levels of the organization and industry, garners respect and is a highly visible team leader. With high EQ and both the humility and confidence to get things done, the successful individual is a highly ethical, engaging, transparent and motivational senior executive knowledgeable about the industry landscape and market opportunities. She/he knows how to tap into the internal human, technological and data resources to execute on strategic initiatives with a results-driven orientation to create value and elevate the service level and resource availability nationally.
