Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools has been creating award-winning content for the past few years and
we want to continue that momentum. This is your opportunity to work with a team that
continually pushes the boundaries of school district communications
while living in one of Canada’s top five  fastest growing cities and living in one of the 25 most beautiful places in the world, according to CNN.

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Communications, Privacy and Community Engagement, the Multimedia Designer-Content Creator is responsible for the development of magical graphic design and online multimedia communications and marketing. In collaboration with various departments and schools, the successful candidate will produce interactive, innovative, visually stimulating and unique internal and external communications projects that align with the district’s design and online standards.

We will rely heavily on your expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and more. Our expectation is to ensure every product we create follows our identity
guidelines. Our social presence has been growing each year and we are looking for someone who can take us to the next level. Experience in website management, photography, videography, and video editing is also preferred for this position.

This onsite, full-time, continuing position offers a competitive wage and benefits package. The current wage of $29.55 per hour will increase July 1, 2023 to $31.17.
