At Evans Hunt, our mission is to execute projects seamlessly from project intake to launch for clients of all sizes across different industries and marketing needs. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager that will be responsible for the successful completion of projects that are largely digital, creative and media based. Experience with website management and creative production projects will be considered an asset

 

Who we’re looking for

 

As part of the Client Engagement team, the ideal candidate for the Project Manager will check off the boxes below.

 

You have a proven track record of successful projects. You have 3-5 years of experience managing various marketing projects including; websites, campaigns, and branding. Agency experience will be considered a very helpful asset.

 

You have a strong attention to detail. You want to work on a large client portfolio with multiple streams of work in web, brand, campaign, events, and French adaptations. You stay on top of the details and documentation of each workstream, working in collaboration with other Project Managers. 

 

You’re self-motivated. You are comfortable working with limited supervision and like to be the person people come to when they’re looking for the next step. And you have a passion for ongoing learning and continuous improvement, particularly around process and methodology.

 

You use technology to do your best work. You have experience with collaboration and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Trello and Miro. You’re proficient with the Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other productivity tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Keynote.

 

 

A day in the life

 

Working at an agency, you'll have the opportunity to work with various clients across a diverse range of industries simultaneously. As a Project Manager, there are a few activities that will likely take up most of your time. These include:

 

  • Managing & prioritizing multiple concurrent fast-paced projects with unmatched attention to detail
  • Understanding the clients goals, objectives, and requirements, and translate them into an actionable project plan
  • Create briefs, statements of work, and detailed schedules
  • Forecasting, tracking, and managing project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Finding the right team to work on your projects (“resourcing”), while working with a team of Project Managers to manage teams with conflicting priorities
  • Working closely with clients, internal teams and vendors, acting as the primary point of contact through project delivery
  • Managing and maintaining scope, and communicating the status of project scope to both internal and external teams  
  • Managing, documenting and communicating risks, changes, and issues that affect the project
  • Creating a positive, collaborative and team-oriented work environment

Timing

We are looking to fill the position by May of 2023. This position is a maternity leave backfill and both term-contract and permanent will be considered.
