About this Role:

  • Employment status: Salaried, Full-Time (35 hours per week)
  • Salary: TBD + Benefits &RRSP
  • Location: 1600 16th Ave - Unit 1, Richmond Hill, Ontario

Reporting directly to the Manager, Regular Giving Strategy, the Marketing Specialist, Regular Giving is responsible for reviewing reports and processes that will help make informed decisions and maximize results. As well as assisting in the process of ensuring new and existing supporters experience a meaningful journey with healinghugs and engaging them more deeply with Hope and Healing International’s cause and brand.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyzing campaign results and providing recommendations for future enhancements, making recommendations to increase retention and revenue results.
  • Compiling and analyzing information and suggesting changes to tasks and or processes.
  • Marketing Communications – reviewing communications, providing feedback on edits as well as recommendations on enhancements to content and communication channels such as mail, digital and face-to-face products.
  • Assisting in the preparation of detailed reports on Regular Giving performance as well as post campaign analysis and assisting in preparation of status reports.
  • Organizing – tracking responses and feedback through Smartsheet input, as well as tracking and providing deliverables on-time.

Other duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyse campaigns, processes, and reports to recommend changes to the donor data segmentation, creative learnings and reported donors’ experiences to increase net revenue and retention
  • Review tactics, track KPIs, and provide recommendations for Regular Giving acquisition and cultivation enhancements.
  • Provide assistance to Manager, Regular Giving by compiling details for KPI’s, reports, or processes.
  • Review and track invoices and confirm track to budget.
  • Compile information, assist in report preparation, and review of reports.
  • Participate in projects and provide input to improve Regular Giving organizational processes
  • Monitor trends to identify and recommend enhancements to maximize donor revenue, donor retention and business efficiencies.
  • Engage with internal staff such as Decision Support Services, Donor Relations, and Donor Services as required to advance Regular Giving programs.
  • Access Studio Enterprise to validate data lists to support acquisition and cultivation channels.
  • Engage with external canvassing agencies providing support of acquisition.

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • College / university degree with a focus on marketing, communications, analytics or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of prior relevant experience, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Extremely effective interpersonal and networking skills with a professional presence and manner
  • Outstanding insight and analytical thinking
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail to review data requirements efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within tightly prescribed timelines
  • Being versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Administrative skills with experience in creating creative briefs, graphs, and presentations
  • Team player
  • Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts. Knowledge of Donor Management software – Studio Enterprise would be an asset
