Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Marketing & Business Development will be responsible for achieving significant sales growth and market expansion for Stanfield’s brands. As the key member of the senior leadership team, this role will lead Stanfield’s sales and marketing strategies, directing all sales activities and market/product research and development. The Vice President, Marketing & Business Development will provide recommendations regarding pricing structures, product lines, packaging, sales promotion, product display mechanisms, point of sale mechanisms and advertising strategies. Along with developing strong stakeholder relations with major retailers, customers, and manufacturing/distribution partners, the position will also work to identify and execute potential acquisitions alongside the senior leadership team, helping to chart the future for a company with an iconic past.

As the ideal candidate, you possess a bachelor’s degree in Business and have several years of progressive leadership experience in building a brand, creating innovative sales strategies, and leading people, preferably within a large retail organization or consumer-packaged goods environment.  You have a demonstrated track record leading marketing and business development for multiple brands and category channels. You will have leading edge knowledge in the digital marketing and social media space, constantly looking for ways to grow and evolve the brand to keep up with trends, stay competitive, lead the industry while attracting new consumers. Using clear and concise communication skills that energize and motivate others, you are results-focused and are always looking for creative ways to improve the status quo. Overall, you have a reputation for being a trusted leader who fosters organizational improvement and success. You have a strong interest in overall best business practices, and you are a big-picture thinker who is adept at leading at a highly strategic level.
