HealthPRO is looking for a skilled Digital Media Specialist to join its Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for overseeing our social media strategy, building digital campaigns and implementing online tools that promote the organization’s engagement with external stakeholders. 

This position requires a deep knowledge of digital marketing and media channels and the ability to lead and execute projects in a timely and effective manner. As a Digital Media Specialist, you will be responsible for leading our digital marketing and communication efforts. 

The successful candidate must have experience with digital media, a “can do” attitude and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels. This role will require creative thinking, excellent time-management and prioritization skills. 

HealthPRO is located in Oakville, ON – we are a hybrid work environment and require attendance in the office a minimum of two days per week to ignite collaboration.

The Role 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Social Media (LinkedIn and Twitter)
    • Develop a social media strategy based on overall business objectives 
    • Proactively develop social media content, adapting writing style and message for the audience and the platform, and maintain calendar of social media content
    • Regularly scan social media in search of opportunities to share curated content
    • Provide regular social media analytics reporting and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Digital Media Management 
    • Manage, track, report, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize paid search, display, social display and other digital advertising campaigns. 
    • SEM campaign set-up including preliminary research, competitive research, ad copy creation, campaign set-up, development of the keyword bidding matrix and bidding strategies. 
    • Develop, manage and optimize contextual, interest-based, lookalike, custom audience, and remarketing campaigns. 
    • Craft campaign report frameworks, create analytics profiles, implement tags, set up goals, define funnels, and perform advanced segmentation and data troubleshooting as required. 
    • Support content, research and materials for prospective customer proposals, pitches and marketing as needed. 
    • Manage HealthPRO’s website and CRM, including posting and updating content, managing search engine optimization (SEO), enhancing the website to ensure optimal performance and ensuring content is strategically aligned
    • Communicate campaign performance, optimizations, and insights to clients through phone calls, email as well as in person
    • Share knowledge and skills with the team to help elevate team competencies and encourage overall
    • Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos, etc. 
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align web content with brand standards

This role will include various other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Formal education in a field relevant to communications, marketing and/or digital media
  • 4 or more years working directly with social and digital platforms, preferably in B2B; experience working in paid media advertising comprising of media activation with multi-channel experience preferred. Paid social and search
  • Extensive experience buying and managing digital media on multiple bidding platforms: Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Google AdWords certification required
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of B2B social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Well-versed in social media and digital technologies, constantly informed on industry developments, including trends and new technologies
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize and deliver against changing priorities, multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Experience with copywriting, researching and reporting    
  • Proven ability to analyze, mine, and present data from major social media platforms and social media listening tools
  • Well-versed in social media and digital technologies, constantly informed on industry developments, including trends and new technologies
  • Highly proficient with Wordpress CMS Platform preferred
  • Intermediate understanding of user experience principles and strong search engine optimization (SEO) skills are preferred
  • Experience working with web and analytics software
  • Experience with Photoshop an asset
