Founded in 1954, King's University College at Western University is a Catholic, liberal arts university college affiliated with a large, world-class university. King's is seeking an experienced leader for the role of Vice-President (External Relations). This dynamic professional will formulate strategies that advance and enhance King's University College's brand, reputation, and relationship with the public and its stakeholders, and oversee the University's fundraising, advancement, and alumni relations initiatives. The Vice-President (External Relations) provides strategic counsel to the President on all issues related to marketing, communications, stakeholder relationships, government relations and institutional reputation, and supports the President in their role as chief spokesperson for the College as well as identifies opportunities for other College leaders to communicate the institution's message and mission.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and strategic marketing, communications, and fundraising professional with particular strength in branding. Experience overseeing fundraising and government relations is highly desirable, as is knowledge of the post-secondary education environment. They will possess outstanding communications skills and a track record of successful management in a large, complex organization. Well-defined relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively in a highly collegial environment are essential.
