The Opportunity:

PMAM is currently searching for a focused, high-energy, motivated and results-oriented individual to join the firm’s Technology and Operations team as an Agile Business Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy & Delivery, The Digital Program Leader is responsible for designing an organization-wide agile delivery framework and leveraging that framework to lead - with hands-on oversight- the development of new and enhanced capabilities from initial design to final delivery. 

Combining technical, analytical and project management acumen, the successful incumbent will play a critical role in the firm’s digital transformation, working closely with partners across the firm to drive greater long-term profitability through the rapid advancement of our digital customer experience, data capabilities and emerging enterprise technology stack.  

The ideal candidate will have direct experience delivering/supporting the following programs as a BA or PM:

  1. Site migration to a new content management system (CMS) and information architecture
  2. Standing up or evolving other marketing technology including marketing automation, personalization journey metrics, and SEO tools
  3. Customer facing web applications, ideally in the FI space (e.g. portfolio management, and calculators)
  4. Advancing organizational data architecture including Business Intelligence and EDLs (SQL, AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Analyze, validate, and translate clients' functional and non-functional business requirements into conceptual design documentation to execute changes or enhancements to business processes, data/information, and information systems
  • Analyze existing processes, create process maps and workflow documents, and develop solution designs that record and explain the desired outcomes of the system enhancement/development
  • Create, refine, and maintain user stories and associated deliverables such as process flows and test cases to meet development and stakeholder needs
  • Guide Feature and Story-level refinement to the definition of “Ready” in preparation for the next sprint or required release cycles
  • Write clear, concise and technically sound user stories, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria
  • Deliver documentation to peers and clients for validation and approval and to technical project members to deliver the solution
  • Support end-user UAT activities and review test results to ensure specifications/requirements have been met
  • Own/Support communication, change management and training plans to support programs
  • Take ownership and communicate progress on work packages, including requirements management, in a concise and timely manner, escalating issues to project manager, partners and manager where appropriate
  • Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • 3+ years in Business Analyst (or similar/adjacent) role
  • Demonstrated business and technical expertise to evaluate complex problems and provide proposals and recommendations to meet stakeholders’ diverse business needs accurately and objectively
  • Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders across an organization, including Project Managers, Developers, Business Owners, Analysts, QA Personnel, as well as external Vendors
  • Demonstrated use-case creation and documentation, storyboarding, and creation of testable requirements (with acceptance criteria)
  • Experience leading data related initiatives with specific emphasis on Data Issues and Data Impact Assessments
  • Excellent understanding of current IT practices, systems development techniques, especially requirements specification and testing methodologies
  • Strong technical and data analytical skills, experience with SQL (Oracle, or Sybase, SQL Server), NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch), and Python
