The Senior Manager provides leadership in the strategic planning, implementation and issues management for the on-going communications, marketing and events responsibilities of TRCA.  Reporting to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer, this senior management position oversees and advises on cross-disciplinary collaboration within TRCA divisional functions to deliver on all matters pertinent to marketing, communications and events. The Senior Manager establishes and implements marketing, communications and events goals, strategic plans and related roadmaps, policies and operating procedures associated with the public branding of the conservation authority and its unique environmental role within a growing urbanizing region.

The ideal candidate will be a business partner first, a communicator second, with strong demonstrated experience in the marketing industry. This individual will bring to life the TRCA brand through best-in-class innovative content and events, delivered in ways that inspire and engage internal and external stakeholders while reflecting on TRCA’s mission and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of communications and marketing expertise, gained from senior management roles within complex multistakeholder environments. They will leverage their business acumen, digital and brand skills to a role which has direct impact on the natural ecosystem of Toronto.
