DIRECTOR, MARKETING OPERATIONS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, COMPLIANCE

Day in the Life:

Reporting to the VP Marketing Technology, Media and Operations, the Director Marketing Operations, Project Management, Compliance will lead a team of passionate individuals who are subject matter experts in developing, executing, maintaining and providing the marketing operations and project management key data and project deliverables. This role will also develop, execute and maintain work enablement strategy while providing best practice expertise to Marketing stakeholders.

The team is charged to drive value by effectively and efficiently running the business of marketing, enabling an optimal customer experience. This includes Project management, loyalty operations, gift card operations, advertising compliance and budget process and management.

The Director Marketing Operations, Project Management, Compliance will be accountable for delivering work processes and tools are effectively built, maintained, and optimized. They will create enterprise value through identification and implementation of best in class operational processes with excellence. They will implement effective and efficient processes to ensure an experience that enables agility, clarity and scale. This role is also the central point of contact partnering with other key functions of the company.

                                     

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and manage resource management planning and intake prioritization for project management
  • Best-in class team building and management: leadership & engagement and talent Management
  • Billing, Cost Centre and P&L management for centralized services and business management teams
  • Process/Tool Optimization: Lead complete process reviews & implementation of changes with partners
  • Oversee all Marketing process mapping (current & future state) and/or implements operational changes
  • Portfolio/Project governance and oversight with EPDE, Finance, Marketing Governance & Control, Vendor Management
  • Process Simplification Office, HR Work Enablement, iD8 assessment and implementation
  • Think strategically and maintain an efficient operating model
  • Strong relationship, partner and collaboration with the ability to influence
  • Strong talent management to build for the future
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, flexibility and change
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment & prioritization abilities

 

What You Will Need:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • PMP Designation
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of marketing industry
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional and measurable performance results
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills, with ability to facilitate consensus among multiple stakeholders
  • Adaptable and strong teamwork orientation to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities and ways of working
  • Proven people management skills, with a strong ability to effectively lead diverse teams and build bench strength, through the use of training, coaching and people development
  • Business case development and gaining buy-in for investment opportunities
