Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer and Chair ESS North America, the Vice President, Retail & Digital Marketing will play a leadership role in helping CGC achieve its going of being the most innovating food service company in Canada. The VP will be incredibly impactful shaping the go-to-market experience and leveraging technology and data to drive superior like-for-like sales. The VP leads a national team of 18 and will be responsible for building a Marketing Centre of Excellence that strengthens the brand, maximizes engagement, enhances the digital experience and generates revenue. The VP will be responsible for creating an integrated marketing strategy that unites the 285+ marketing programs that occur annually to 22 different lines of consumers through its five different market sectors.
The ideal candidate is a tech savvy digital marketing professional with experience in QSR, retail or other national brand that caters to different consumer segments either through line of business or geography. Highly strategic, creative and innovative, the preferred candidate brings a strong understanding of how to build a data-driven function and then utilize market research and other data analytics in the development of successful marketing and retail strategies. A strong working knowledge of marketing technologies, e.g. Salesforce, is required.
