Dedicated to promoting safe living and working environments, UL helps safeguard people, products and places in important ways, facilitates trade and provides peace of mind.</p> <p><strong>About the Position</strong></p> <p>Manage overall regional marketing activities nationwide. Develops and reviews marketing plans and strategies for the assigned region. Assists in the development and implementation of key elements of the overall UL marketing strategy, incorporating needs of domestic business units as well as coordinating with international operations.</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and review market assessments.</li> <li>Create and implement marketing plans, coordinate with other functions as needed.</li> <li>Work with sales management to develop and implement marketing strategies and activities to directly support sales force efforts and drive revenue results.</li> <li>Ensure customer focus through the active use of market research and customer segmentation, coordinating with sales and operations to ensure customer needs are met through appropriate product portfolio and service delivery.</li> <li>Coordinate with branding function on leveraging and incorporating UL brand management into marketing plans and tactics.</li> <li>Manage and execute all elements of the marketing mix including product portfolio, positioning, promotion and pricing.</li> <li>Through frequent customer contact, identify new business and market opportunities, and recommend strategies to develop and implement them.</li> <li>Perform other duties as directed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>If you have the below, we would like to hear from you</strong></p> <ul> <li>6 or more years of experience in marketing, communications or a related field, with a University degree required, preferably in Marketing or Communications</li> <li>Ability to lead and execute on a variety of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to: tradeshows/ events, digital marketing, thought leadership, inbound/outbound campaigns</li> <li>Solid understanding of demand generation concepts, competitive insights-gathering, planning tools and budgeting processes.</li> <li>Understands key aspects of the marketing mix (pricing, product, promotion, positioning) and experience activating promotions and leveraging tools across variety of promotional channels.</li> <li>Technology savvy - Skilled in Microsoft Office and/or experience using a wide array of communications tools.</li> <li>Excellent writing, editing and communication abilities and a strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Bilingual in English and French an asset.</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple projects at once for many stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing business environment.</li> </ul> <p>Join our&nbsp;<strong><em>Sales &amp; Marketing Team</em></strong>&nbsp;and make a difference!&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>To apply &ndash; Visit:&nbsp; <a href=""></a></p> <p>Job ID:&nbsp; 2019-12854</p>
