The Creative Graphic / Web Designer will be responsible for the conception, design and execution of marketing materials in both print and digital, balancing creative thinking with time management and excellent interpersonal skills. The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to multi-task and communicate ideas with acute attention to detail as well as in-depth knowledge of print and digital execution. The creative team are responsible for the production of brand accurate artwork across multiple channels for all GTA-Homes brands.
We are looking for someone with a strong ability to create and conceptualize print and digital media that translate marketing and brand strategies into stunning visuals to join our web marketing team at our office in Vaughan, Ontario.
The creative Graphic/Web Designer will be required to brainstorm creative ideas and concepts to support the marketing team objectives. This includes managing brand guidelines to ensure that all marketing assets adhere to the assigned brand standards. Working closely with Marketing, the role presents unlimited growth potential in the areas of web design, graphic design and creative brand strategy. The position will be full time Monday – Friday onsite at GTA-Homes head office.
Tasks and Responsibilities
*Work with web marketing team to design and develop sales and marketing materials including: Web graphics, web images, brochures, business cards, newsletters, Magazine ADs, Infographics and videos.
*Manage the company brand across all outgoing sales collateral and online communications
*Manage all graphics websites and updates on a daily basis.
*Prepare files for print, coordinate print production and ensure the highest quality of printed materials
*Provide UI/UX design for Web and Mobile
*Other duties as required
Desired Skills and Experience
*University or college diploma in graphic design and 2-5 years of related employment experience.
*Experience working with corporate brand management (Minimum 2 years)
*Previously worked in a team environment (agency, studio or in house design team)
*Proficiency in a Mac environment using Adobe Creative Suite CS6 or higher
*Positive attitude, highly motivated, organized and outgoing
*Experience producing digital advertising and graphics for web desirable
*Ability to produce creative ideas and solutions from brief to presentation
*Advertising, branding and web design experience
*Experience in designing Responsive websites and mobile optimized layouts
*Ability to collaborate with a team - creative directors, project managers, copywriters, programmers and other key members of our creative team as well as work independently
*Experience and awareness of current trends in media, including digital technologies and Social Media
*Exceptional English verbal and written communications and presentation skills
*An exceptional portfolio
*Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
