Digital Content Strategist

Role

Digital Content Strategist will work under the direct supervision of Deryn, our Managing Director and will develop and implement comprehensive social media and digital strategies with varying KPIs for our clients.

You should have excellent multitasking skills to work on multiple accounts as both a Strategist and Project Manager. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting brands through multiple social media and digital channels, we would like to make you part of our team.

Responsibilities

 

  • Design social media and digital strategies to achieve client’s overall marketing targets
  • Manage and develop original, high-quality content
  • Monitor all company social media accounts maintaining quality
  • Liaise with content developers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate and manage projects with agency partners
  • Be a go-to for client communication (respond to queries, provide updates and plan meetings)
  • Manage and assist in developing monthly reports on KPIs
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
  • Aid in business development within entertainment (music, TV and/or film) sector for client acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business or a similar field of education.
  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a strategist or manager in a related industry
  • 1+ year of proven graphic design experience
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing (including, but not limited to, WordPress, SquareSpace and Adobe Muse)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Muse)
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital media buying
  • Fluent in the English language (both speaking and writing)

Starting wage: $25.03/hr for 37.5 hours per week
