On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager, Innovation to join their team of dedicated professionals.
Reporting to the Director of Innovation, and working in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Sales, this position is responsible for leading Innovation from idea generation through launch. Clearwater’s market centric growth strategy encompasses the need to drive fewer, bigger and better initiatives beyond value-added. Strategic focus encompasses reaching new customers through new channels, growth in new regions, creating solutions through new species and solving for consumer needs through value-added solutions. Major responsibilities include: Project management; Stage-Gate process and cross-functional Innovation Team management; Analysis of business development opportunities and requests for proposals, and reporting on key metrics. Essentially this role leads, challenges and energizes all members of the cross-functional teams to drive growth and execute with excellence.
As the ideal candidate, you have a post-secondary degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Marketing and Innovation. Experience in premium and perishable foods is preferred. You have strong experience in team leadership, innovation project management, and Stage-Gate process. You have proven excellence in communication and collaboration, and have a strong background in building both internal and external relationships. You have the ability to operate both on the strategic and tactical levels within an organization, and are viewed as a “hands-on” individual who leads by example.
