Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing marketing, event, merchandise, administrative, and other support as required in a fast-paced, professional, client service-oriented environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business Development and Client Service team and firm Lawyers to assist with all administrative and logistical aspects of firm events;

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining all event invitation lists and client/company contacts;

  • Responsible for all aspects of the firm’s branded merchandise supply. (Tracking inventory levels, working within a budget, liaising with suppliers for orders and new products as well as fulfilling merchandise requests.);

  • Must be able to deal effectively with clients and have excellent written and oral communication skills;

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when required; and,

  • Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Candidate Profile:

  • Undergraduate degree or community college diploma in marketing would be considered an asset;

  • Previous training and experience as Executive Assistant / Administrative Assistant;

  • Previous training and experience within a marketing environment and activities;

  • At least five (5) years of experience, ideally within a legal or other professional services environment;

  • Strong organizational and time management skills;

  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills; and,

  • High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Apex would be an asset.
