Marketing Coordinator

 

At Upstream Works, we provide software technology for customer care in the rapidly changing social, mobile and omnichannel world of the contact center. We are growing, and we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator that will be a key contributor to the overall business.  

 

So, how do you know you’re our new Marketing Coordinator? At the risk of stating the obvious, you have a passion for marketing and are looking to make a strong impact. To get even further ahead, experience in the technology and/or contact centre industry would go a long way.

 

You have all of the essential tools in your back pocket – PowerPoint, Adobe, Social Marketing - Along with a ticket stub from the latest Marvel blockbuster.  

 

More importantly, you have an eye for detail and are a proven multitasker. You are determined to add value to a product, to leverage the talents of your co-workers, and translate customer requirements into the best products you can. You are also a detective –driven by the need to understand the complete picture.  It’s not just about getting your part done; it’s about understanding all of the pieces, how they fit and work together, and how you can make it better. Beyond that, you know how to get it done, and are a deadline driven team player.

 

In short, you will be responsible for implementing marketing programs, digital campaigns, branding efforts and social platforms designed to support our objectives.

  • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of marketing communication projects including lead management, email marketing, digital campaigns, website updates and social media management
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure our website, collateral and other communications accurately reflect our brand
  • Provide support in the creative design of our content including developing innovative and effective presentation solutions and communication materials, which may include powerpoints, social media, print media
  • Support product demonstration video production projects from pre-production to final
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned to contribute to the objectives of the department
  • Ensure project tasks and deliverables are met within provided time frame

 

Here's how your intelligence, dedication, and drive come into play:

 

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in marketing, communications, graphic design or related area
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with digital marketing and graphic design initiatives ideally within the technology industry
  • Experience executing B2B digital and social marketing activities including web content management systems, web analytics and digital marketing best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic understanding of website platforms such as WordPress
  • Proficiency with Video and Audio software
  • Basic knowledge of HTML code preferred
  • Basic knowledge of CRM platform preferred
