Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, National Outreach and Sponsorship, the Partnership Development Specialist administers the delivery of Non-Public Property (NPP) Sponsorship and Donations programs for the Canadian Forces Morale & Welfare Services (CFMWS).  She/He organizes Strategic Outreach events, solicits sponsor, arranges venues, entertainment, audio-visual, attends planning meetings, leads volunteer committees, and produces event promotional materials while keeping internal/external stakeholders and the Chain of Command engaged and informed.  She/He provides input and recommendations into the development of an overall Strategic Outreach and Sponsorship and Donations strategy.  She/He negotiates collaborative arrangements with Industry Partners, drafts MOU’s and Annex’s, issues invoices and keep precise records of donations or support as per NPP policies.  She/He updates and maintains current the Strategic Outreach and Sponsorship and Donations section of the corporate website.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or in a related field, AND some years of experience in fundraising, corporate event planning and management, investors relations, marketing or in a related field

OR

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or in a related field, AND several years of experience in fundraising, corporate event planning and management, investors relations  or in a related field

OR

A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.  This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • In generating and maintaining corporate partnerships
  • In sponsorship and donor solicitation and sales
  • In program promotion and event marketing 
  • In processing donations and sponsorship
  • In developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies and tactics to achieve goals
  • In negotiating and implementing contracts
  • In writing reports, briefing notes, speaking notes, scripts, correspondence and other communications products, sales packages and proposals
  • In planning and conducting presentations
  • In coordinating, implementing and executing projects, campaigns and programs
  • In using content management software to update website
  • In using social media
  • In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, Internet browsing

Salary:  $56,950 - $67,040 per annum
