Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Gain and maintain a deep knowledge of the hearing aid and communication / assistive listening devices market and competitors’ best marketing and sales practices.

  • Develop a solid understanding of the Deaf and hard of hearing clients’ journey and generate new ideas to improve customers’ experience and grow market share.

  • Create and utilize annual business plan as a road map to provide growth and identify opportunities with the greatest potential of a closed sale.

  • Review / evaluate competitors’ promotional activates and develop successful marketing strategies to create demand and expand the organizations’ customer base.

  • Translate product and sales strategies into detailed requirements and processes.

  • Work closely with hearing aid clinics’ personnel and school boards sales & operations team to:

  • meet monthly and annual sales and financial goals.

    • introduce new initiatives.

    • achieve quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.

    • monitor / evaluate sales activities and introduce sales training to improve sales effectiveness.

    • organize local sales events.

    • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Proven work experience in product management.

  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies.

  • Experience developing sales forecasts and meeting sales objectives.

  • Strong planning, follow-up, and closing skills - experience in technical & consultative selling proffered.

  • Ability to successfully use selling to relate customer challenges with product solutions.

  • Demonstrated maturity, good judgment, effective communication skills, ability to work under pressure with a wide variety of people.

  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet and Database applications.

  • BS degree in Business or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to travel as required.

COMPENSATION

CHS offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
