Job Description

As an integral member of our marketing department, the Marketing Coordinator must be adaptable, and detail oriented with effective verbal and written communication skills. They must be able to juggle multiple projects, be well organized and effectively draw from various resources within the company.  The ideal candidate is familiar with Salesforce.com, website CMS, HTML, and email deployment programs. This is a highly collaborative role, that requires a flexible, open communication style.


Responsibilities:

Email Execution

  • Edit, test and launch email campaigns
  • Pull and segment email lists according to campaign requirements
  • Manage lead triage and upload into Salesforce.com
  • Perform QA and testing of all aspects of email campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch email campaigns as needed
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives by providing email best practices and advising on implementation tactics
  • Build and update email templates as necessary
  • Campaign performance reporting

 

Website Management

  • Manage all aspects of website refresh project, including managing internal stakeholder relationships and external vendors (ie: website developers)
  • Manage all ongoing website changes and updates
  • Ensure web pages are optimized for search engine

 

Direct Mail

  • Coordinate production of course guides
  • Manage Work Back Schedule and work with Printer on deliverables
  • Coordinate deliverables with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines


Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience utilizing Marketo or similar marketing automation software
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com, website CMS, and HTML
  • Experience delivering nurture campaigns, and performing A/B split testing
  • Knowledge of CASL and PIPEDA an asset
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving  skills
  • Ability to adapt gracefully to changing priorities and multiple projects with a high level of accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Familiar with Google analytics or other statistics reporting for web & email campaigns
  • Diploma or degree in marketing required
