Authorized TELUS Sales Representative

Currently seeking a sales professional to help with the expansion of the TELUS Fibre Network in across BC and Alberta. The ideal candidate will have an Interest in and appreciation for technology.

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative

-Marketing TELUS products via In Home Sales Presentations, Event Marketing and Mall Kiosks
-Manage and track Salesforce.
-Identify customer specific needs and customize the services for each individual client to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
-Daily tracking of sales for weekly reports submitted to management.
-Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes.
-Attend team meetings for continued training and development of business skills.
-Manage time effectively and strive to exceed personal goals.
-Learn how products work and translate complicated technical jargon for the average consumer.
-Work effectively with other members of the team.
-Comply with conduct and performance policies.

Requirements of the Sales Representative 

-High school education or equivalent
-Fluent in English; Second language is ideal
-Self-motivated and willing to learn
-Interest in and appreciation for technology
-Decision-making skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with customers
-Prior sales experience preferred
-Customer service experience 
-Superior presentation, interpersonal and written & oral communication skills
-Ability to maintain and upgrade individual skills set, per market, through continuous learning and market awareness
-Basic understanding of smart device technologies (phones, tablets, computers)
-Pass a background check
-Willing to travel as needed

Hours and Training

Monday to Friday
Weekly training and special events for on-going development

Base + sales commission
